Mike Byrne

- Director/Writer

The captain of the Clock Tower ship so to speak - Mike has spent over 25 years developing educational media. From software to High Definition films Mike has been the creative mastermind behind a wide range of successful projects.

Here are just a few of Mike's credits:

• Primary writer/designer of more than 100 educational software programs

• Primary writer/designer of "Science Collections" a library of 42 CD-ROMs focusing on the US middle school science curriculum, published by Discovery Communications Ltd. (Discovery Channel).

• Primary writer/designer of "Social Studies Collections" a library of 12 CD-ROMs focusing on the US middle school social studies curriculum, published by Discovery Communications Ltd. (Discovery Channel).

• Primary writer/designer of "Daily Planet" a library of 20 DVDs utilizing footage from Discovery Channel's "Daily Planet" broadcast program, published by Discovery Communications Ltd. (Discovery Channel).

• Writer/Director of "Living Histories" (2002) a curriculum based multimedia resource comprising 9 CD-ROMs, 1 VHS tape, and related Teacher Resources

• Writer/Director of "Interviews with Americans"  (2002) a 1.5 hour video presentation featuring over 20 video vignettes, primarily interviews with actors portraying significant characters in American history.

Gavin Young

- Director of Photograpy/Special fx

Gavin started out working with still cameras, you know the ones with the little rolls of film in the back, yes we know that dates him a little. But, after almost 9 years chasing ambulances and meeting press deadlines as a photojournalist Gavin was looking for a new challenge.

Gavin brings the same visual and artistic creativity that won national photojournalism awards to life behind High Definition video cameras as Director of Photography. Gavin also spends more than a few late nights fine tuning our computer animations, and running our website.

Here is a little more background on Gavin:

• Writer and videographer for Incite over 120 short educational films

• Award-winning photojournalist -- 1992 to 2001 -- winning numerous provincial and national awards for his photography.

• Principal photographer for "Living Histories" (2002) a curriculum based multimedia resource comprising 9 CD-ROMs, 1 VHS tape, and related Teacher Resources

• Graphic Designer - Science Collections" a library of 42 CD-ROMs focusing on the US middle school science curriculum, published by Discovery Communications Ltd.

• Director of Photography for Shattered the feature length drama about youth and Crystal Meth addiction.

• Director of Photography for Drugs are not the Problem a moving feature documentary about the social and medical connections to youth drug addiction.

Michelle Harris

- Producer/Writer

Michelle has over 17 years experience as a writer/producer of award-winning educational programming for youth and adult audiences. Michelle is a key to our creative energy plus she keeps our projects on time and on budget. We think her curly hair is pretty cool too!

Below is just a sample of Michelle's work:

• Researched and coordinated the filming of living history sites/reenactments worldwide (U.S., Canada, U.K., Greece, Italy and Egypt)

• Project managed the production of an award-winning 52-part collection of social studies and science CD-ROMs for Discovery Channel School.

• Developed and coordinated “The Best Places To Kiss”, an informational travel television series for W Channel (Canada) and Discovery Channel (US).

• Co-Production Coordinator for the educational television series, “Legal Wise”
