Kendra Anderson

-(Christine Larson)

A prairie girl though and though Kendra was born and raised in Saskatoon SK. She fell in love with the stage at age five when she got the role of Gretel in the “Sound of Music” at a local Saskatoon High school. Her biggest concern at that time was, that she could not read, so how could she memorize her lines?!
Kendra went on to study at the Canadian College of Performing Arts in Victoria BC after completing high school at Aden Bowman Colligate. During her two years at CCPA she presented over twenty songs, twelve monologues, wrote a thirty minute play called “Scarf Harvest”, co-wrote an originally piece with eighteen of her peers, performed the role of The Cook in “The Caucasian Chalk Circle”, led a band of pirate wenches as Bloody Mary in the 2007 On Broadway production as well as turned herself green to play Elphaba, (the Wicked Witch of the West).
Kendra is calling Victoria home this summer while she takes on the role of Juliet in the Victoria Shakespeare Society’s “Romeo and Juliet”. She will be moving to Vancouver in the fall of 2007 to further pursue her dreams of acting both on stage and in film.
