Incite Overview

Clock Tower has produced over 120 original short films for special needs eduational publisher Don Johnston Inc.

These films are part of Don Johnston's Incite! learning series. Don Johnston gave Clock Tower Images the goal of producing 5-7 minute original short films that would engage students in subjects that traditionally are seen as boring. For example, instead of coming to class and opening another heavy dusty history text book to learn about the Gold Rush, what would happen if a lesson started with a dramatic look at life for miners or even school kids in an 1860's town. Our goal wasn't to teach the places and dates of history but spark a student's imagination and hopefully the desire to learn more through reading.

Studies have shown that many struggling students are visual learners. Incite films are helping those students read and excel.
